Our Story
Rescuing Farmers, Celebrating Uganda's Abundance
Seeta Forest Breweries Ltd was founded to rescue fruit farmers from post-harvest losses. With 80% of Ugandans being farmers and 70% of produced fruit going unsold, we convert surplus fruit into wine, herbal teas, and health products.
Our brand name Tale of Fiverepresents the founders' five children — every wine is a chapter of their family story, rooted in 40 acres of planted trees in Mukono District.
“Give us a fruit and we give you wine.”That's our promise. We use locally abundant Ugandan fruits, and the same trees that produce our wine fruits also supply medicinal herbal teas.
Wine production started in 2018, with mass production during the 2019–2021 COVID lockdown. We're UNBS certified (July 2024), employ rural women and youth, and our products are available in 50+ outlets across Uganda.
